Today’s home comfort appliances offer greater control, use less energy and are more reliable than their predecessors. Upgrading to a high efficiency outdoor wood, wood pellet or corn burning furnace can prove to be a major savings while also increasing home comfort. If you already have a newer furnace, it still pays to check out new units.

Wilmer Verch, the proud owner of Verch Furnace Sales has been bringing heat and warmth to the Ottawa Valley since 1994. Wilmer says he gets the most satisfaction with his happy customers, knowing that they are going to have a warm home. Wilmer enjoys seeing the countryside and the challenges that his job brings. Once he had a client where dealers come into their home and these three dealers told them they could not help them or install anything. Wilmer took a look at the job, figured things out and completed the job for them. The client was ecstatic. To quote Wilmer and show his heart and dedication “When they say you’re going to sleep on it. It actually happens.”

About Central Boiler

In the Beginning
Central Boiler traces its roots back to 1984 in a workshop just south of Greenbush, Minnesota. There, a single idea and some welded pieces of metal would grow into a company that is recognized today as North America’s largest manufacturer of outdoor furnaces, and one of the largest manufacturers in northwestern Minnesota. The company’s innovations and patents come from people who take a little more time, pay a little more attention and go a little further to make sure that every Central Boiler product is ready to meet the demands of the real world.

A Leader in the Industry
The E-Classic outdoor wood furnace was the first to qualify for the EPA Outdoor Wood-fired Hydronic Heaters (OWHH) program and NSPS (New Source Performance Standards). Central Boiler has led the way with a long history of innovation and ingenuity. The Classic outdoor wood furnace was the first in the industry to be UL and CSA certified. The Maxim M255 is an outdoor furnace that burns wood pellets, a convenient and efficient option that can provide days of heat on a single load of pellets and or corn.

Innovative Ideas from Innovative Thinking
True to their goal of providing the finest outdoor wood furnaces available anywhere, engineers at Central Boiler have developed the FireStar II electronic controller, E-Link Technology and the FireStar XP Wi-Fi module. These advancements provide a sophisticated method for controlling the outdoor furnace, sharing operational information and for remotely viewing and controlling it. They represent the most technologically-advanced way to heat with wood ever offered by Central Boiler.

Time Tested, Customer Approved
Thousands of these quality heating systems are in use today in a variety of heating applications, in businesses and in homes. Central Boiler outdoor furnaces are available from hundreds of authorized dealers in the United States and Canada. In addition, Central Boiler offers a variety of heating-related products and accessories.

Growing Forward
Central Boiler remains a privately-held corporation. The company’s work force continues to grow at the Greenbush facility, always striving to acquire talent that represents the highest level of performance in all areas of production, engineering, sales, marketing and customer service. Several expansion projects to their manufacturing facility have taken place over the years. Since 1991 they have grown from a 25,000 square foot facility to over a 300,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility.
